6 months !

What can happen in a span of 6 months ? Being down and gloom for a while, ignoring whatever and indulge in rest , turning my back to God and insisting my way .........

Rachel transited from primary to school , spending almost 12 hours in school everyday . Her homework no longer make much sense to me, though I am trying to be interested and updating myself as much as possible such that at least I know what is what !

Well well well....... Today has enough treasures for me to evidently blog on a space which is intangible yet visible to the eyes.

Successfully clone Betty Crocker 's devil cake with my best cheesecake with a twist of melted toberone ! Baking Raedan a birthday cake was completely slipped out of my mind towards the weekend with my lazy bones relapsing , which had also added guilt to my professional conscience as I excused myself from 3 students . Never again should I do it this year no matter how valid my excuses are .

Delivering cheesecake required a critical decision making. We had to skip attending service ! God , no excuse is accepted . Emily loves my bread pudding and I have put off for a long while. May the bread pudding touched her in spirit and in truth while God please forgive and .....

Attending a one hour concert watching windstars ensemble perform together as a family was a blessed time. I am thankful Raedan and Reuven could be attentive At least half way through. Coincidentally, Clement is performing which drew their attention better at special moments. Star Trek, Star Wars and Jupiter- it would be exciting if we could start playing such pieces.

At Sywin, walking back the second time was a wise choice. Not knowing which violin strings to purchase cause us to walk out the first time. Shouldn't the salesperson advised which string to choose ? Thankfully he wasn't around the second time we went in. We got a set of the useable strings , and we even spotted an acoustic guitar at a really delicious price. Third time I stepped in, I got the guitar strings for the classical guitar.

Celebrated Raedan's birthday and everyone enjoyed the cake ! Happy of course am I , needless to say.

Blisters on left fingers are forming soon, more clone baking, more concerts popping , more reaching out in love for 2013 ! I am seeking You Lord while You take care of what You want to !

After everybody left home for school and work, I spent almost two hours on the Internet getting my ads posted on classifieds. Time to recruit more students.

Managed to get laundry done within minutes, dropped the music books and Chinese composition at the copier before heading to JP to meet Candy and Michelle .

Michelle texted she would be late. That gave me minutes to the supermarket to post another ad.

Brunch with them was a good excuse for me not to be able to go back to sleep.

They returned home with me for a chat and thankfully I could finished preparing lunch and dinner within half hour.

Lessons today was well packed. Good idea to play YouTube for Xuanhui which motivates her to brush up her performance. Creative learning for aural with Benedict and Xuanhui. Harmony of interval sixth was taught for Benedict and Ranen with interesting tunes from Star wars . Zirong had a detailed revision of texture while Brasen had a revision .

After dinner, gearing up everyone to play a part to clean the house was wonderful. Thank you my dearest children and hubby.

I am blessed . Be joyful

Guard my heart

Days sneaked away swiftly. Time was squandered carelessly.

Listening to Pastor Beatrice today about guarding our hearts brought light to my darkness.

Fear God and obey Him is all I need to do . Lord, forgives me and cleanse me. I need You Lord to save me from the traps that I have dwelled.

20th September 2012 .... Restful day

Had a good rest this morning. Really needed the rest feeling so tired .

Some marketing , teaching two students , Raedan and Reuven finish some of their homework on their own, dinner .....

Time with Rachel and Ranen is little today as they had a long day.

Vision rally at church was good . Good to feel God's presence and felt different from last year . I felt I was more open to receive God's message compared to last year. What is in store for these few days ?

Mum wanted me to be home to collect otah she bought from Malaysia. We stopped over at the petrol station for the toilet paper rolls and bought moon cakes too. Ended up exchanging mooncakes .

My parents never fail to show us love .

God never fails to either. After we reached home, then the downpour starts.

Thank God for my children who are obedient and sensible . Messages with Ranen's form teacher earlier had given me assurance that Ranen has matured and really knows he want to do well in his studies .

God , bless these four children you have put in our care. Let them be successful and glorify your name .

545am Quick warm up of buns bought the night before 600am Breakfast ready at the table 615am Hubby, Rachel, Ranen and Raedan are off to school Pack children's beds; Laundry Symphony with Vanish in the Round and Round Machine 640am Browse habitually on Iphone 645am Wakes Reuven and get him ready for school 705am Brings Reuven for his School Bus Pick up 715am Keeps Laundry / Put up the Wet 815am Took a few minutes to list down the pros and cons of running the student care 830am Lesson with Wenen- Happy to see he is enjoying those he had learnt. Happier to see him coping with music from Carol Matz's classics. Every child has different learning styles and speeds. I had to remind myself that it is important to be patient with each individual and affirm them always. 905am Dominic arrived and played In the Hall of the Mountain King with Wenen. When alone with him, we explored dynamic shading to shape melody. Dominic's mum chatted with me quite a while when her toddler is enjoying herself with the garden. TongTong left very unhappily as her mum and brother walked away. Almost the rest of the day, I was considering the pros and cons of running the student care with Candy, myself, Emily and Edwin. I am excited by the new adventure I can imagine. However I doubt my drive, determination and discipline. Afternoon was easy with a nap with Reuven. Though I have reserved my time today for Rachel, but she had two assignment which takes up 3 hrs. Ranen and Raedan had managed to complete their work on their own though the latter needed firm warnings. Hope that they have done their work well. Dinner was quickly whipped up- eggs, stir fry long beans, otah, salads, soup . Hubby's hmmmmmmmm is depositing energy for meals to come . Feeling a little frustrations with all the mental calcalations and plannings. If the place is for me, things will work out our way with the main tenancy transffered. Alternative, I should be writing plans, curriculum ... save up funds and locate another area, The remaining of the 24 hours , a good night rest is essential. Looking forward to the next 24 hours God is blessing me.

Within 24 Hours Prelude

I have a few blogs. Some of which I will continue writing more often while some seems to be like in faraway land. Among all my blogs, I realised that there is no blog for my family to be in. Is this a blog a dedication to my family ? In my 24 hours daily, I have to be a wife, mother, teacher, cleaner, cook, daughter, almost left out role as a light of God. There is no possibility to single out one role and focus on that. It had always been a juggle. In Within 24 Hours, I hope to remember the ups and downs of balancing- balancing well.
